Miniature homes from polymer clay

These little abodes were my latest project. Made for a group swap with Polly Wanna Clay Yahoo group. Each house is no taller than 4.5 inches with bases no larger than 4 inches square.
You should see what the other clayers made! There were some wonderful pieces created for this swap!!

Polymer clay hearts

These are polymer clay hearts with magnets on the back that I made for a swap and gifts. The eyes, teeth and lashes were added with acrylic paint.

Step two...posted a photo

So, as you can see, I finally posted a photo. This is my Peridot Angel. She is my own design. Peridot keeps watch over me as I work in my studio space.

This year has started slowly. Just a few new projects completed. Mostly polymer clay pieces. Hopefully my progress will pick up. There is a T-shirt quilt to make, dolls to re-dress...using vintage evening gowns as my fabrics, bears to dress, rabbits to make and so much more.

Oh yes, there will be 3 new arrivals in our family this year, so baby things are on the list too!

Photos of more recent projects will be posted soon.

Grins,
Susanne

'Tis the beginning....

Since encouraging others in one of my doll making groups to create their own blogs, figured best take my own advise. Now, just how do I do this???

The internet has been my golden path to network with wonderfully creative and talented people. Their inspiring ideas, patterns and techniques have helped me explore my own abilities and stretch my imagination. To them, my most humble and sincere thanks.

With respect,
Susanne Faulkenbury
